Back In Time – Data Backup and Recovery
Back In Time is a simple backup tool for Linux, inspired by “flyback project”. It provides a command line client ‘backintime’ and a Qt GUI Client. It is Extremely easy to use. You only need to specify 3 things:
– where to save snapshots
– what folders to backup
– backup frequency (manual, every hour, every day, every month).
You can set this up as a CRON job and not think about it (much) or make a scheduled time for you to sit with you digital partner with a mug of coffee, plug in that external drive and initiate the snapshot.
