Next BREP io CAD Application Demonstration
Overview
Next.BREP.io is a free, history-based parametric CAD app that runs in the browser and as native Linux/Windows binaries. It is written in Rust, including its own boundary-representation geometry kernel, so models are real solids (analytic and NURBS surfaces), not just triangle meshes.
You sketch a profile, extrude or revolve it, add fillets, holes, shells, sheet metal, and assemblies, then export exact STEP. It also puts electronics in the same document: schematic, PCB, and wire harness live with the mechanical model. Move a footprint on the board and the 3D part moves with it. Draw a wire and it becomes a harness with cut lengths and a BOM line.
No account required. Browser models stay in local storage and are not uploaded. Early software, under heavy daily development, with native Linux builds available.
