Operating System Rollback Feature is Important for Me
Replies
- Goofball: If I were to switch from Fedora to something else, I think PikaOS would be near top of the list. For my personal use case, rollback feature is not a priority. Most of my apps are cloud-based, most of my data is backed up. No loss if I have to wipe my machine. *That said, I use a Fedora atomic downstream called secureblue so I can always roll back to the previous stable image if needed.
- benstechroom: for me rsync used way too much space. btrfs is easier and lighter. I couldn’t get Debian to get its btrfs right for timeshift. thats what put me 100% on Ubuntu. Backups chose my distro for me. Lol.
