- I am chronically online and a keyboard is very important to me

- No I cannot, and I am not fussed, I type well enough for my needs. What I can’t do is to get my fingers to trype the correct words. Even when looking at what I am doing lol

- I’ve been typing since I was 10. My teacher couldn’t read my handwriting. She found out that my mother was a secretary. So she asked her to teach me to type. I learned on a IBM Selectric I and a II. Watching that little globe spin around was so cool.
- I took typing in college for an easy credit. I had been typing for 8 years.
- Mine wanted to fail me because I didn’t use the correct finger for each key.
- My mother went to the Dean to complain. Long story short, he watched me type and said he passed.

- My penmanship was so bad I took typing in 9th grade. Best educational thing I ever did in HS.

- Typing classes started in 2nd grade with my daughters’ school. Part of their homework was Monkeytype. The 13yo is now faster than me, and the 10yo is close.

- I was kicked out of a keyboarding class in 8th grade because zi could already type much faster than the teacher. She thought i was trying to get an “easy A”. In fact, i wanted to learn to touch type. I actually do fine if i don’t look at the keyboard but, for whatever reason, I still don’t have the confidence to consistently not look.

- I do touch typing always and I also have keyboards with no labels that I use as well… not sure how but I never look at the keys there either
